Producing reports is a common task for most SiteHive users, and it's an area where significant time-savings and productivity benefits can be realised. We've just made month end and client requests much easier to complete, with a major update to SiteHive reporting features.
Historic device names can be displayed, so you can differentiate between locations
As you move devices around site, updating the names and location of each device (in Site Details > Manage Device) will now show this history in reporting. By selecting Display all previous device names, the history of that device will be shown, while deselecting it just shows the current name. The image below shows the same vibration monitor that has been moved between multiple locations, clearly differentiated in the graph.
Explained events can now be seen in Reporting to give you a full record
Explained Events now come through directly to Reporting, to maintain a full system of record for you. Events are now shown on the Reporting and Dashboard graphs, coloured green for explained events and staying red for unexplained events. Also, the rule thresholds now only show for the periods that the rule was active, making it much simpler to understand and explain when your site, and works, were active.
Below the graph a complete table of explained events for the period is now available. Filters can be applied to tailor the table to your specific reporting needs, and the data can be downloaded as a consolidated .csv file.
Downloading data - filter on time periods to get the exact data you want
SiteHive automatically provides you with reliable storage and access to all your environmental data. Downloading data from SiteHive in consistent, clean formats has always saved hours of time, but now it's even better with the addition of time period filters. If you're interested in just the data for a weekend occupation, or what happens out of hours only, you can now add time period filters to your downloads.
We hope you find this Reporting enhancement useful - please don't hesitate to reach out with any feedback, requests or ideas you might have! Give us a buzz.
